Install a New Mulch Bed Like a Professional

December 29, 2016 September 10, 2018 Renee Romeo5181 views

You can install a new mulch bed like a professional.

Just how easy is it to install a new mulch bed like a professional? I’m here to show you how to break down this job into manageable parts so that it will become an easy task for you. Proper planning helps to make each day that you work on this project a little easier.  You can expect to complete this project over the course of two consecutive weekends.

I usually install a new mulch bed every season.

You don’t have to love digging in the dirt to get a beautifully landscaped mulch bed. If the thought of creating a mulch bed in your yard is making you tear your hair out, please don’t! If you want to tear something out, try pulling out dead and wilted landscaping from your yard instead. You can spruce those areas with this technique as well.

I will show you how to create a beautifully landscaped bed where one doesn’t exist. You can install a new mulch bed like a professional anywhere in your yard. I have created mulch beds as islands (in the middle of my lawn) and also around the foundation of my house. The more ground you cover, the quicker you get done mowing your yard. I once had so many mulch beds around my home that I literally cut thirty minute’s worth of time off of mowing the lawn. The addition of extra shrubs and plantings made the yard looked gorgeous too!

Be just like a professional landscaper!

If you follow my process for achieving weed free mulch beds, the results will last for many seasons to come. You only need some basic tools, many of which you should already have.  Whether you purchase mulch and topsoil by the bag or truckload, get ready for a gorgeous landscape in your yard.
