Learn how to make a decorative rose flower pillow.

Do you want to know how to make a decorative rose flower pillow? This is the very first video post on this website. Though I happen to be critical of the way I speak (Don’t we all hate hearing ourselves talk?), it’s still a great project to watch and tackle. I take you through the entire process of making the pillow. You will learn how to make a pattern, cut the ruffles and secure them to the pillow form. This is a beginner sewing project for everyone because it teaches many basic sewing skills while making something substantial looking!

My decorative rose flower pillow is so pretty.

I’m sure that I can count on one hand how many compliments you’ve received over the years about your decorative pillows. I get compliments all the time on this lovely little powder puff rose. This pillow is so versatile. A pillow like this can be incorporated into many interior spaces around your home, it’s organic styling makes it easy to blend together with different design motifs. Although the pink fabric choice for this project pillow screams ‘girly’, the gold still photo screams’elegant’. It really makes a difference in the feel and look of the pillow, depending upon your fabric choice. Get imaginative and you can come up with the right compliment to your space.

Would you like to know how to make a decorative pillow?

In a few easy steps, I will teach you how to make this beautiful rose pillow. If you don’t own a sewing machine, you can sew the entire project by hand -really! If you go this route, have a little patience because it will be more time consuming than if you use a machine. So get out your pinking shears, grab some fabric and let’s have some fun!
