How to Paint outdoor furniture the Easy Way

January 21, 2017 March 3, 2018 Renee Romeo3329 views

Do you want to know how to paint outdoor furniture the easy way?

I will show you how to paint outdoor furniture the easy way in this video tutorial. This is even possible to do over the winter! Wow! If you have a basement or a warm(ish) garage, it’s possible. I’m painting my patio furniture outdoors because it’s a nice day. If you have forty degree weather or better, you can get this job done before Spring is in the air. It’s a great early prep for spring and when you’re done…you’ll have a (nearly) new looking outdoor furniture set.

Learn how to paint outdoor furniture with the right paint.

If you’re tired of breathing in fumes form a spray paint can (like I am) then try my alternative to a great paint finish. Did you know that a can of exterior paint can be used on items other than house siding? It’s true. All you need is the correct surface preparation for a successful outcome. It’s essential. If you take care of rust and grime prior to painting your outdoor furniture, you will be well on your way to years of use and abuse. Also, you can have a gallon of paint mixed to any color on a paint swatch or even color matched to a favorite item – like a work of art! That can’t be said of a spray paint can. You will also achieve a beautiful, consistent finish which takes a lot of practice when mastering spray paint.

This how to video will show you the easy way !

A can of exterior paint can also allow you to apply beautiful decorative patinas. This is something that can (almost) never be accomplished with a paint spray can. I love to apply decorative finishes on items in and outside of my home. It also allows for mismatched pieces to be painted alike and viewed together as a cohesive whole. It’s my secret to great decor!
