Best Tips for Organizing Your Home Workshop

January 1, 2017 March 3, 2018 Renee Romeo4108 views

My best tips for organizing your home workshop.

My best tips for organizing your home workshop will help you organize your own space. Workroom organizing is probably the last project that any DIY-er does. That is exactly the case with me. I have wanted a beautifully neat workshop space for years! Finally, I have put all other projects aside to accomplish this monumental task. It may be a monumental project but it really didn’t take me as long as I anticipated to finally complete.

My best tips will help you too.

I have an outrageous amount of stuff! Do you too? If so, this quick video outlines my workroom organizing skills. I have put together the ultimate space that many of us want! It can be much more functional if we take the time to organize it – instead of placing a “do not enter” sign on the door. With a little creativity, this will become one of your favorite rooms in your house. It will actually make you more productive because everything is right  at your fingertips, where you can clearly see it!

Organizing your home workshop is the best way to see what you have.

If you think that you have too many tools or too many household supplies, you don’t need to get rid of them just to make more space for more. I will show you how to group items together in a way that makes them more accessible. The proper shelving is a must. If your shelving is too flimsy, you won’t be satisfied that it can’t hold a lot of weight. Household items weigh more than you think when you’re stacking them. Peg board is another good item for keeping tools and small item out in the open where you can see them. Last, clear bins and drawers also keep items recognizable at a moments notice. Please join me for this helpful video that will have you organized in no time.
