Here are my 30 fun things to do during quarantine for the Coronavirus pandemic. The current global situation calls for ideas to pass the time with activities that you can do at home this weekend. Activities for daily living (or adl) can help! Fight depression and anxiety with self care. Anxiety disorder, depression, and isolation are on the rise. Due to quarantine and isolation, self care ideas are necessary. You can use this advice if you are use a walking boot, hobbling around on crutches, are confined to bed or in a cast. Much COVID-19 information & resources are available from the World Health Organization but there isn’t much information on how to deal with isolation in a healthy way. It’s imperative that we spend time with children and reassure them by spending quality time with them. Learning new skills, socializing or spending time together can greatly impact a person’s mood in a positive way. Now is the time to learn a new skill or craft. I share many helpful ideas that educate and inspire. Please don’t turn your brain to mush by binge-watching Netflix or Amazon programming. There’s a time and place for show and movie watching but tuning in all day, every day isn’t the best idea. As a matter of fact, during the previous seven weeks of my broken foot isolation, I rarely viewed my TV. What I’m trying to do is zero in on learning important life basics while having fun at the same time. There’s a wealth of information available for free on the internet, if we just know where to look.
Things to do with Kids During Coronavirus Pandemic
Your kids are probably more proficient navigating the internet than you are. But, you certainly have more life skills than they do. Why don’y you marry both skills and create some fun activities? A fun environment focused around learning is a healthier way to spend time together. Engage one another with a step-by-step video. You can learn a new recipe (Sea Salt Spray for Your Hair), learn how to tie shoelaces like a designer, or learn new ways to relax with guided meditation. I’m not saying that these are all active things to do with a broken leg (or like) but it’s certain that all of them will make your brain active in the process. None of these are outdoor activities with a broken leg either, they’re simply things to do when you can’t get around like you used to. Don’t let the four walls surrounding you close in on you. There’s plenty to do from the comfort of your home, bed or apartment. All you have to do is tune in and play.
