My critical review of The Beverly Hilton Hotel may surprise you.

Then again, my critical review of The Beverly Hilton hotel may not surprise you at all. It’s the backdrop of many Hollywood tragedies so why can’t it suffer from its own string of tragic blunders?  It seems like a magical place, full of attractive celebrities and ultra-rich patrons. This is deemed the posh hotel that hosts the Golden Globes, Daytime Emmys and high-profile power lunches. The Hotel website lists the building as “Legendary. Iconic. Memorable.” and I visit this hotel in hopes of wrapping myself up in an exclusive experience. It’s Beverly Hills, after all…

The Beverly Hilton hotel isn’t what you think it is!

Fortunately, Hilton mattresses are top-notch so whatever your subconscious is up to, it’s not the mattress’ fault. In my review, I highlight all the good, the bad, and the ugly. This is advertised as one of the most luxurious properties in the world but does it deliver on that promise? I will be brutally honest about my expectations for this property because you need to know if this hotel  measures up to all the hype. Everyone deserves a trip to Beverly Hills at some point in their lifetime. I hope to point you in the right direction and send you off for an exclusive high-end experience that will make you feel like you’re dripping in diamonds.

Does my critical review of this hotel go too far?

My trip takes me here for The Interior Design Blogger’s Conference (yes, it’s really a thing). Since I’m a designer, I always look at fit and finish within interior spaces. It’s my ‘niche’. The use of finish materials and the way space planning is implemented is important to me too, especially in commercial design. Hilton Hotels and Resorts has access to the best commercial designers on the planet so my expectations are high. Is this the pinnacle of high style or the pit of despair?
