Replace a Bathroom Faucet

August 24, 2018 August 24, 2018 Renee Romeo2618 views

Do you need to replace a bathroom faucet?

I’m teaching you how to replace a bathroom faucet today. There are many reasons why we need to replace bathroom fixtures. I have double sinks in my bath and both of them are leaking from the faucet. In order to make the repair, I have to get underneath both sinks, shut the water off and take the fixtures apart. Since I have to to all that work anyway, I might as well get a head start on my bath renovation and replace the old fixtures with new models.  Even though I’ll have to repeat the process all over again in a couple years, at least I’ll have fresh, modern faucets to use during the meantime.

That’s why I don’t repair, I replace!

What tools do you need to replace a bathroom faucet? You can get my project materials list here:Bathroom Faucet Supply List or go to www.reneeromeo.com and click on the link in the video commentary. This project is easier than you think and you can expect to complete one faucet replacement in about one and a half hours. If you’re claustrophobic, this may not be the project for you because you will be working in a confined space. Other than that, this is definitely not a project needing a plumber.

I’ll show you how easy it is to replace a bathroom faucet.

This is an quick job that requires just a little bit of muscle. With the right direction from me, I’ll show you how to use the correct tools to make disassembly and reassembly easy for anyone. There is no job in the bath that’s easier than replacing a faucet. This fixture change can modernize and transform your bath in no time. I think it’s the biggest bang for the buck when it comes to a bath remodel.
